March 10 , 2009 Custom Home Improvement Retailer Leases 1,300-Square-Foot Space at Safeway-Anchored Shopping Center
Florence, Arizona - Evergreen Commercial Leasing, a unit of Evergreen Development Company, announced today it has leased a 1,300 square-foot retail space at Anthem Marketplace at Merrill Ranch to Elite Shutters & Blinds. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The home improvement retailer will join Safeway, Wells Fargo, McDonald's and Tutor Time at the 19 acre shopping center on the northeast corner of Hunt Highway and Merrill Ranch Parkway. The center opened in October 2007.
"In just 18 months Anthem Marketplace has grown into a vital component of the Merrill Ranch community," said Gregg Alpert, chief operating officer for Evergreen Development. "With all of the development going on in the area it will be a tremendous convenience for homeowners to have a top-notch home improvement retailer in the neighborhood."
Elite Shutters & Blinds has scheduled a grand opening event on April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the store. The company offers a full array of home products including window coverings, ceiling fans, custom closets, garage cabinets, garage floor coating, security doors, crown moulding, window tinting, retractable awnings, roller shades, hide-away screens and lattice patio covers.

"Customers can come in and see samples and buy all products and services in one convenient location. They no longer have to waste time and money calling and driving all over."
